In the darkroom or PhotoShop burn in any bright distracting objects you were unable to crop out or eliminate with fill light when the picture was taken. This is the original, unedited camera file. You can see there are also many areas in the tree roots with are bright and distracting. These were toned down with a combination of Photoshop techniques such as cloning with the rubberstamp and burn-in tools.
